Our alcohol meter and thermometer will help you to control the alcohol level during production of your home-made beverages.

The gauge shows the percentage alcohol content. The result of the measurement is the direct, exact reading of the alcohol content and does not include additional calculations.

This device consists of three parts. The first one is a floater, also called an aerometer, with an imprinted scale ranging from 0 to 95%. The second part of the alcohol meter is the thermometer installed in the floater that measures the temperature of liquid, while the third and last one is the plastic test tube that is necessary for proper execution of the measurement.

This device should be calibrated at 20-21°C. It is intended for distilled spirits, free of additives and tannins.

In order to conduct the test properly and receive the exact, trustworthy result, you need to fill the plastic test tube with a small quantity of liquid. It should allow the floater to float freely without touching the walls of the tube. Then you need to assess the submersion level by measuring it in relation to the lower meniscus of the liquid.
