"Samba F1" carrot (Daucus carota) belongs to late varieties and its vegetation period lasts 130 - 150 days. This extremely productive variety yields rich, high quality crops. The roots it forms are cylindrical, conical and grow 22 - 24 cm long. The bright orange roots are equally coloured in the whole cross-section and are covered with a smooth and tender peel. They stand out with high gustatory value, high dry matter and carotene content. "Samba F1" roots are valuable material for many different kinds of preserves, particularly juices, dried slices and frozen foods. You may also consume them directly or store.

Seeds of the "Samba" carrot should be sown from March to May directly to the place where they should grow. Carrots should grow in rows 20 - 25 cm apart and after the emergence seedlings need to be thinned to keep 3-6 cm distances between the plants. The soil should be well cultivated and weeded. Depending on the date of planting the harvest takes place from August to November. Sandy-clay, light, permeable soil with neutral or slightly acidic reaction work best in carrot cultures. The soil should also be rich in humus and moderately, constantly moist.

Each package contains 5 g of "Samba F1" late carrot seeds. Growing instructions and the sow-by date are included in the package information.
