We especially recommend the „Jupiter” variety that prodces tasty leaves and is resistant to leek rust. You should also try out the highly productive „Volcano” variety with dark green leaves that can be forced early. The „Prazska” variety, that may winter without covers, might also arouse your interest.

Chives finds its use mostly in the kitchen due to its pleasant aroma and taste. It is a great fit for dairy products, sandwiches, salads and dish garnishing. Its leaves contain plenty of vitamin C and minerals, hence it should find way to our tables often, especially in the cold season.
