The Doctor Witteveen narcissus (Narcissus) will captivate you with its large, double, yellow-white flowers that completely differ from the classic daffodil varieties. This charming cultivar grows up to 40 cm and develops strong, erect stems that are surrounded by erect, lanceolate, narrow leaves. In this beautiful setting in May it develops the magnificent flowers, whose six broad milk white tepals create background for the frizzled, decoratively split corona. This unique build will appeal to all lovers of the large, double flowers.
The bulbs of the presented variety should be planted into the permeable, moderately fertile and moist soil on a sunny or partially shady site. The flowers might appear a little later in the partial shade, but will remain fresh for a longer period there. The beautiful, sturdy and reliably blooming Doctor Witteveen narcissus constitutes a perfect ornament on a spring flower bed - we recommend to plant it in larger groupings of at least 10 plants or in compositions with other daffodils that are available in our store, such as Accent, Apricot Whirl and Banana Splash.
Each package contains 50 bulbs of the Doctor Witteveen narcissus, sized 12 to 14 cm. The most important plant growing tips were included in the package information.
