The size of rich, lush flowers of the Lotus Ice lily is bound to surprise you. Developing layers of petals, these 3-D lilies of pure white colour are strikingly similar to lotus flowers, to which they owe their name. Delightful Lotus Ice flowers reach about 15 centimetres in diameter and release a very pleasant, sweet scent, which makes you want to linger near them longer. The spectacular flowering of oriental lilies usually lasts from June to July, and sometimes you can admire Lotus Ice flowers even in August. Stiff, straight, stem covered with alternately arranged leaves grows to a height of 80 to 100 centimetres. This size makes the variety perfect for many arrangements in the garden and larger pots or boxes. Oriental lilies display good durability after cutting. You can enjoy an elegant bouquet made of them for 7 to 10 days.

Oriental lily hybrids, valued for their exotic beauty, are not too demanding, and growing them is fairly easy. Still, they develop best at bright sites in well-drained, fertile soil. We recommend feeding the site with compost before planting bulbs. Oriental lilies need regular, moderate watering. Excess moisture is more deadly for them than a temporary lack of water. Spread a thick layer of mulch, bark, or mounds of peat over the place where oriental lilies grow. This is necessary as Oriental lilies are not fully hardy.

One package contains one bulb of the oriental, double-flowered lily Lotus Ice, sized 16 to 18 centimetres in circumference. Basic plant facts and a growing guide were included in the product information on the packaging label.
