The Orange Marmalade martagon lily is a bulbous perennial that is endearing with its nobleness.Its nnumerous, downward-hanging, turban-shaped flowers with protruding stamens are responsible for its impressive appearance. The about 120-centimetres tall beautiful Turk's cap lily stands out with its intense orange flowers free of the so lily-characteristic dark dots. Flowers develop at the top of the plant, creating a sensational, pyramidal cluster of flowers. Although the diameter of the flowers of the martagon lily is not as impressive as in other species, the unique charm of the plant attracts many gardeners. Flowers develop en masse in July and August and shimmer with their bright colours, constituting an interesting addition to home gardens, especially those arranged in a naturalistic, country, or English style.
