The Orange Marmalade martagon lily is a bulbous perennial that is endearing with its nobleness.Its nnumerous, downward-hanging, turban-shaped flowers with protruding stamens are responsible for its impressive appearance. The about 120-centimetres tall beautiful Turk's cap lily stands out with its intense orange flowers free of the so lily-characteristic dark dots. Flowers develop at the top of the plant, creating a sensational, pyramidal cluster of flowers. Although the diameter of the flowers of the martagon lily is not as impressive as in other species, the unique charm of the plant attracts many gardeners. Flowers develop en masse in July and August and shimmer with their bright colours, constituting an interesting addition to home gardens, especially those arranged in a naturalistic, country, or English style. Tall martagon lilies are great solitary plants in exposed areas in the garden. Larger groups of the martagon lily create picturesque views, that perfectly adorn places of relaxation.

Lily of the offered variety is a trouble-free plant, frost-resistant, and undemanding. Plant in at sunny or semi-shaded places. Carefully select the position, because lilies do not like to be transplanted and willingly stay at one spote for several years. Martagon lily requires permeable, fertile, and humous soil. Plant the bulbs in spring or autumn 12 to 15 centimetres deep. Turk's cap lily are hardy plants that you leave in the ground for the winter. During the season, it does not need much care. It is enough fertilize it several times a year and water during periodic droughts. After flowering, remove the flowers, leaving the stem, which will nourish the bulb for the next year.
