Petunia with ruffled blooms (Petunia x hybrida pendula fimbriata), here offered in a variety mix, is an annual plant that delights with abundant and long blooming. It develops partially trailing habit consisting of 40-cm-long stems. This beautiful plant produces myriads of cup-shaped blooms with frizzled, wavy edges. Among the broad colour palette you will find white, pink, red, carmine-red and purple blooms. This plant stands out with extremely long blooming period. The first blooms appear already in spring, while the next unfold steadily until first autumn frosts. This colourful petunia mix looks particularly great in hanging baskets, balcony boxes and pots. It will adorn your balcony, terrace or exterior windowsill in the long summer months. You may also plant it in the ground, on lower borders, edgings and flower beds.

You should grow petunia seedlings in a heated room in early spring. Boxes, seeding trays or mini greenhouses would suit this purpose best. Petunia seeds are tiny and need much light to germinate, so you should not cover them with soil. First sprouts should emerge after 14 - 20 days. Transplant seedlings to the permanent site in the second half of may, as soon as the risk of spring frost is over. Leave 20 - 25 cm spacings between the plants. Ruffled petunia grows and blooms best in full sun. It likes fertile, moderately moist and highly permeable soils.

Each package contains 0.01 g of mixed seeds of petunia with ruffled flowers. The package information contains a growing guide and the sow-by date.
