Reversed clover "Gorby" (Trifolium resupinatum) is an annual, pasture plant in our climate. This plant is demanding in regard to weather and soil. It grows best in regions, where heavy rains occur together with high temperature. In those places mowing the meadows would be possible even four times in a season. Seeds of the reversed clover should be sown in second decade of April. They germinate at 6 – 8 °C. Spring frosts often cause damage to the seedlings. Moist soils rich in nutrients work best for the reversed clover.
The "Gorby" reversed clover does not have a high dry extract content, what makes it unsuitable for hay production. It us mostly used as green forage rich in nutrients and ideal for everyday feeding. Pleasantly smelling blooms attract insects, what makes it a very melliferous plant.
One package contains 1 kg of "Gorby" reversed clover seeds. Package information contains the sow–by date.
