The Salou daffodil can be aptly described as breath-taking. The outer tepals of these slightly wrinkled flowers are soft and creamy-white, while the inner parts of the perianth are bright yellow. This combination is a great way to cheer up an edging or a pot. Flowers of this variety make great cut flowers and remain fresh in the vase when kept in a relatively cool room. They unfold in March and April and sit on about 35-centimetre-tall stalks. Salou daffodils are valuable bulbous decorative plants that fits every garden and floral decoration in a pot in spring.
Narcissi prefer sunny situations or those in partial shade. The place where you grow them should also be sheltered from wind. Plant bulbs in autumn into permeable, fertile soil, 10 to 15 centimetres deep and 20 to 30 centimetres apart. Water them after planting and covering with soil. Daffodils are resistant to frost and belong to plants that do not require much care from a gardener. They can grow well and propagate on the same site for several years.
One package contains fifty bulbs of the Salou daffodil, sized 14/16 cm.
