The Shakespeare tulip belongs to low growing Kaufmanniana tulips. This lovely midget grows up to 15 centimetres in height, making it one of the smallest tulips around. Its flowers look like broad, erect wine cups and are surrounded by slender, erect leaves. We encourage you to take a closer look at the colour combination that you can see on the petals. There, intense shades of salmon pink, light orange, and coral red interchange in subtle streaks. The bottom of the flower, in turn, takes on a golden yellow shade. Despite their modest size, tiny Shakespeare tulips add a vibrant touch to early spring compositions on flower beds, lawns, and in rockeries. You can also grow them in large, shallow pots.

Kaufmanniana tulip bulbs must be planted in autumn in humous, moist, and medium-compact soil. Try to find an open and sunny position to enable plants to produce brightly coloured flowers. Low-growing tulips will also thrive in partially shady situations, provided the sunlight operates there at least several hours a day. To admire them in all their glory and create a colourful patch effect, plant the bulbs at a fairly high density of 8 to 10 × 8 to 10 cm. Presented miniature tulip blooms in April. At that time, it can blend beautifully with daffodils, frittillaries, and early tall single tulips.

Package contains 250 bulbs of the Shakespeare tulip, sized 11/12 centimetres. Essential growing guidelines were printed on the package.
