Tubergeniana Mischchenko squill (Scilla mischtschenkoana Tubergeniana) is an unusual bulbous perennial that enchants with clusters of star-shaped flowers. Long and early flowering period in March and April is the main advantage of this species. Mischchenko squill owes its unique charm to its pale blue flowers. It can produce several flowering stalks from one onion, which translates into high flowering efficiency. Broad, bell-shaped flowers, whose petals are adorned with stripe that runs through their centre, are surrounded by narrow, elongated leaves. This fifteen to twenty-five (six to ten inches) tall plant looks phenomenal in a rock garden, on a border, and a mixed flower bed. It will thrive in a pot or a balcony box too. Cut flowers of the Mischchenko squill offers material for a charming, romantic bouquet.

Mischchenko squill is easy-to-grow, it copes virtually without any help from a gardener. Squill bulbs planted in autumn in permeable, humous soil that remains moist in spring, propagates quickly. Sunny and partially shady spots, e.g. under a canopy of deciduous trees, stimulate squill growth. To nourish the plants, we recommend spreading it with finely ground compost from time to time. Presented squill is fully hardy and does not require excavation before the winter.

One package contains five bulbs sized six to seven centimetres (two-and-a-half to three inches) in circumference. Basic plant facts and growing instructions were printed on the product label.
