The Pink Dream tulip is a plant that flowers in the most subtle manner. Its large light pink flower heads tower over the foliage like sweet balloons. Slightly frizzled petal edges wonderfully underscore the elegant character of the blooms. Strong erect stems that end with large white-pink flowers wonderfully fit into the spring atmosphere. Broad light green leaves complement the magnificently refreshing appearance of the plant. Pink Dream fully deserves its name. This subtle, delicate, and light tulip heralds the coming of the cheerful spring.

Tulips belong to the most popular and universal bulbous plants. A majestic colourful tulip will fare visually well in almost every part of the garden. You can plant them in single species groups, in combination with other bulb flowers, annual and biennial flowers. Tulips look wonderful at the background of shrubs and lawns. Planted in pots they constitute a marvellous sight and a unique decoration. They are often used to stabilize embankments and edgings. There are no better flowers for naturalistic plantings, though they look in more strict arrangements equally elegant. Do not forget about using tulips as cut flower. Nothing makes the wait for the coming of spring more pleasant than a bouquet of colourful tulips.

Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn, preferably in September or November. Planting depth should equal thrice the height of a bulb, what usually means 10 to 12 centimetres. An optimal tulip growing site should be sunny with a medium heavy, fertile, and moist soil. Places where the soil is permeable and has a reaction between pH 6.6 and 7.5 are also considered favourable. During the period of intensive growth when there is no rain, bulbs must be watered and fertilized. Digging out tulip bulbs every year is recommended, yet not mandatory. After the leaves have dried (about six to eight weeks after the flowering), bulbs need to be taken out from the ground, dried slightly, cleaned of the soil, and stored in a cool single package contains 5 bulbs of the Pink Dream tulip, sized 12/+ cm. Essential plant facts and growing tips can be found on the package label.
