The dwarf 'Poster' French bean that produces yellow pods is an excellent seasonal multi-purpose vegetable. It is recommended for spring cultivation in greenhouses and in open field and for autumn sow. The plants develop 14.5 cm long pods that are covered with a yellow, slightly shiny skin. These pods are broadly elliptic in cross section. The presented variety stands out with excellent health and yield quality. One of the main advantages of the 'Poster' bean variety is the easy collection of the pods that significantly enhances harvesting comfort. The yellow French bean is tender and creamy in taste after cooking. It tastes best with buttered bread crumbs or fried in butter, as a separate dish or addition to meat. Thin French bean pods can also be added to frozen vegetable mixes and pickled. One kilogram of the 'Poster' French bean contains 249 pods.

Bean is a thermophilic plant. We recommend to sow from 10 to 30th of May. The vegetation period lasts 74 days. Sow the seeds at the depth of 2-3 cm. The row spacing optimal for the proper development of the plants amounts to 35-40 cm. The required spacings between plants in rows should amount to 5-8 cm. You may sow both per broadcasting and per hole. The pods are gradually harvested over the course of several weeks.

French or green beans, as this vegetable is also called, has higher-than-the-average cultivation requirements. It prefers sunny and warm spots. A fertile, moderately moist soil rich in humus with slightly acidic reaction proves to be optimal for this plant. Bean bushes require frequent watering. This treatment is particularly important during the flowering and pod development stage. The site where young plants grow needs to be weeded regularly.

The French bean is a valued source of vitamin C and provitamin A. It also contains proteins and B vitamins. The tender pods are also rich in substantial doses of calcium, phosphorus and iron. It also contains strong antioxidants called flavonoids that prevent the free radicals from forming. This vegetable is also rich in fibre that supports the functioning of the digestive system.

One package contains 50 grams of seeds. The growing tips and the sow-by date were printed at the back of the package.
