The Altruist daffodil (Narcissus) belong to the most unusually coloured varieties of the small-cupped group. Its shapely, charming flowers resemble those of the white narcissus (N. recurvus). Their subtle form should appeal to supporters of subtle varieties that imitate plants growing in the wild. The dazzling Altruist daffodil stands out from the other small-cupped varieties with its fantastic combination of unique colours. Its cup takes on a fiery, saturated red-orange colour, and the petals around it glisten with a pleasant, warm yellow. In the later stages of flowering, they acquire a reddish tinge, making the entire flower look as if they are constantly bathed in the light of the setting sun.

The slender, about forty-centimetres-tall Altruist daffodil produces straight, narrow stems that shoot from grassy, ??gray-green, and erect leaves. Sunny and semi-shaded positions suit presented variety best. This plant is perfect for naturalizing on lawns and in relaxation areas of your garden. Our unusual, gold-and-copper small-cupped narcissus can also decorate the centre of a flower bed or path edge. Altruist unveils its full decorative potential in compositions with white, yellow, blue, and purple flowers - hyacinth, grape hyacinth, crown imperial, and tulip that flower in late April and early May.

One package contains five bulbs of the Altruist daffodil, sized twelve to fourteen centimetres (five to six inches) in circumference. Essential growing instructions can be found on the package.
