This excellent pasture and meadow variety guarantees high yield of raw material for silage and hay. The "Mowestra" Westerwold ryegrass stands out with rich carbohydrates' content, high percentage of dry mass and excellent nutritional value. It easily survives minor frosts, does not lodge, is completely resistant to grass rust and shows good tolerance / resistance to other fungal diseases. It grows best on sites with sufficiently moist soil.
