The Ara daffodil stands out with a charming shape of its flowers. Tufts of juicy green, grassy leaves cobined with bright yellow flowers immediately evoke spring mood. Ara daffodil is a variation of Cyclamineus Daffodils. It means that its petals are angled to the stem, while the long and relatively narrow corona ends with a frilled edge. The pale yellow whorl of petals harmonizes perfectly with the greenish-yellow cup. Each thirty to forty centimetres (twelve to sixteen inches) tall stem ends with a single flower. Fragrant daffodils can adorn flower beds, borders, rock gardens, and naturalistic gardens. The Ara daffodil harmonises with hyacinths, tulips, and various primrose species. To plant a larger group of these plants under large trees to create a picturesque spot is not far from a brilliant idea.

Narcissi, like many other bulbous plants, are easy-to-grow. They fare well at various sites, yet they prefer full sunlight and only light shade. Plant them in August and September, you can expand planting period as weather permits. Daffodil loves slightly moist, humus-rich soil with neutral reaction. We recommend planting bulbs in groups, about ten to fifteen centimetres (four to six inches) deep. As daffodils are frost-resistant, mulching before the winter is an option, not a need. Add a dab of compost to the soil in spring to encourage vigorous growth and rich flowering. Apply the second dose of the fertilizer after the flowering period to strengthen the bulbs and ensure better flowering in the next season.

Each package contains five bulbs of the Ara daffodil. Basic plant facts and growing tips were printed on the package label.
