The double-flowered Balnoon daffodil beautifully illuminates the garden with its sunny glow. Its magnificent flowers consist of bright yellow petals and a split cup in a slightly darker shade. Cheerful and intricate daffodils constitute a dazzling decoration of spring arrangements at flower beds, borders, as well as in vases at home. You can successfully grow them in containers that will decorate a home or balcony entrance. Wonderfully scented flowers of the Balnoon daffodils sit on single, straight, bare stems, that are surrounded by long, upright leaves. Balnoon daffodil belongs to rather undemanding plants. A moderately rich, moderately moist garden soil allows this variety to thrive. The reaction should preferably be neutral or slightly acidic. As a hardy plant, it does not require winter covering. In colder regions, though, we recommend protecting it with leaves or mulch. Remove that cover after the start of vegetation, water plants, and fed them with a multi-component fertilizer. Daffodil can grow on the same site for years, still, we advise digging out bulbs every two to three years. Transplanting to a new site allows to maintain abundant flowering and to divide densely growing plants.
