BIO Fertiliser for strawberries and raspberries - Compo - 750 g has been developed for fertilising strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, currants, gooseberries and other fruit shrubs grown in gardens and containers. The natural formula based on 50% sheep wool provides fast action after application, while at the same time gradually releasing nutrients for up to 5 months. The granular fertiliser supports healthy plant growth, improves fruit quality and helps maintain the proper structure of the growing medium throughout the season.

Properties and benefits

The sheep wool used in the fertiliser is a natural source of nutrients and, as it decomposes, steadily feeds plants for many weeks. Compo fertiliser improves soil biological activity, supports humus formation and increases the water-holding capacity of the growing medium, which helps plants make better use of the readily available nutrients. Regular feeding promotes the formation of healthy, aromatic fruit and helps plants recover after fruiting.

Composition

Organic fertiliser NPK 6+3+5. Raw materials: sheep wool, animal by-products category 3 in accordance with Regulation 1069/2009, and plant materials from food production.

Application and feeding period

The product is intended for fertilising strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, currants, gooseberries and other fruit shrubs grown in open ground and in containers. The fertiliser can be used from March to August when planting or for feeding already growing crops. Thanks to its long-lasting action, one application per season is enough.

Dosage

Strawberries, raspberries and blackberries are fertilised at a rate of 100-120 g/m². Currants, gooseberries and other fruit shrubs require about 100 g/m² of fertiliser. A full open handful contains about 40 g of granules.

Directions for use

When planting new plants, the fertiliser should be mixed with the growing medium intended for planting. For established plants, spread the granules around the shrubs and mix them with the top layer of soil or place them in several holes made near the root system. After application, water the growing medium thoroughly to activate the gradual release of nutrients.
