Broad Bean ‘Bartek’ is a medium-early variety that grows fairly tall and usually branches into two to three main shoots. Each of its stems produces 8 to 10 bean pods that contain 4 to 5 large white seeds. Broad Bean ‘Bartek’ is suitable for direct consumption; 500 of its fresh seeds weigh around four kilograms.

Growing: sow the seeds from March to April. Grow the plants in 40-60x10-20cm spacings. The plants are ready to be harvested during the summer, from June to August.
