Butterhead Lettuce ‘Justyna’ is a variety that is suitable for growing under cover as well as in foil tunnels in early spring or in the field from the spring all the way up to the autumn. It produces large green heads that are not only tasty, but also can be eaten and stored over a relatively long period of time. In addition, Butterhead Lettuce ‘Justyna’ is immune to four mildew varieties.

Growing: sow the seeds from late February to late April to harvest the plants in the spring; in order to harvest in the summer, sow the seeds directly into the soil in the spring. For autumn harvesting, sow from July to August. Grow the plants in 20-25x30cm spacings. This variety requires moist fertile soils and endures temperatures as low as minus 5°C.
