The "Medium" canterbury bells (Campanula medium) belongs to the most beautiful species grown in idyllic rural gardens. This easy-to-grow biennial plant grows up to 70-90 cm tall and produces large, bell-shaped flowers, gathered in long, dense, clustered inflorescences. The mix of colourful varieties offered in our store contains seeds of plants producing blooms in different shades of white, pink and purple. The erect, graceful "Medium" canterbury bells will adorn flower beds, borders and solitaire perennial groupings. It blooms in high summer - from June to August - and provides excellent material for fresh bouquets. It forms great partnerships, among others, with cornflowers, hollyhocks, decorative sunflowers, hoary stocks and phloxes.
An important advantage of the "Medium" canterbury bells lies in its trouble-free cultivation. Seedlings can be produced both at home and on a seedbed in spring or early summer. Transfer the seedlings to a prepared target site in September so that they can get used to the climate before the winter comes. Choose a warm, sunny position with sufficiently moist and humus soil, preferably fertilized with compost, humus or special mineral fertilizers for flowering plants.
One package contains 1 g of the "Medium" canterbury bells variety mix seeds. The sow-by date and growing instructions were printed at the back of the package.
