The "Medium" canterbury bells (Campanula medium) belongs to the most beautiful species grown in idyllic rural gardens. This easy-to-grow biennial plant grows up to 70-90 cm tall and produces large, bell-shaped flowers, gathered in long, dense, clustered inflorescences. The erect, graceful "Medium" canterbury bells will adorn flower beds, borders and solitaire perennial groupings. It blooms in high summer - from June to August - and provides excellent material for fresh bouquets. An important advantage of the "Medium" canterbury bells lies in its trouble-free cultivation. Seedlings can be produced both at home and on a seedbed in spring or early summer. Transfer the seedlings to a prepared target site in September so that they can get used to the climate before the winter comes. Choose a warm, sunny position with sufficiently moist and humus soil, preferably fertilized with compost, humus or special mineral fertilizers for flowering plants.
