The Congress daffodil is an elite variety with a split trumpet. Its broad flowers surprise with their unique build and consist of yellow tepals and light orange corolla appendages. It is hard to find a more "spring" flower than this variety. The unique appearance of the Congress daffodil is additionally underscored by the waved edges of the split corolla. This perennial that flowers early in spring will delight all lovers of brightly coloured bicolour blooms. Long naked stems and narrow, linear, grass-like leaves give the plant a tuft habit. Congress daffodils are reliable plants that are perfect for home gardens, parks, and cultivation in planters. You can also use them in mono-plant bouquets.

Daffodils belong to tolerant plants - they thrive both in the sun and in partial shade. Their preferences regarding the site is limited to permeability of the soil that should not waterlog. The ground does not have to be exceptionally fertile. Daffodils would be satisfied with average, moderately moist soil. We recommend fertilizing a narcissi-planting site with compost first what would translate into healthy and large plants. High humus content in the soil suits daffodils too. The bulb planting site should be thoroughly and deeply cultivated. These unproblematic bulbous perennials do not need much care. Water them during drought to prevent soil from drying out. We recommend applying multi-component fertilizers at the beginning of the vegetation period and at the end of the flowering time.
