Popping corn "Plomyk" (Zea mays ssp. everta) will appeal particularly to kids and crunchy snack lovers. This variety is grown for dried seeds that are later fried in oil to become popcorn. Seeds should be sown directly in spring. We should choose sunny, warm sites with quickly warming up, humous, fertile, not overdrying, nor too heavy, nor waterlogged soil.
Popping corn cobs of the "Plomyk" variety can be harvested mid-early, end of summer / beginning of autumn in September. Only cobs with fully developed seeds and dried out leaves can be harvested. After husking the seeds out of the cob you have to dry them in a dry, aerated, warm place.
Each package contains 10 g of "Plomyk" popcorn seeds. Package information contains a growing guide and the sow-by date.
Approximately 100 seeds (+/- 20%)
