The 'Bursztyn F1' cucumber is a heterotic, Polish-bred variety. This parthenocarpic cultivar is exceptionally early and productive. Its fruit do not get bitter even in less favourable growing conditions. The vigorous plants develop almost exclusively female flowers what guarantees high yield. The 'Bursztyn F1' shows increased tolerance to downy mildew. It is recommended for cultivation in heated and unheated greenhouses. The cultivation on black foil under agrotextile is possible in favourable weather and warmer regions.

The fruit produced by the presented variety are delicious, dark green with a lighter epicalyx tip. Theses short 9-12 cm cucumbers are covered with a bumpy skin. Their excellent tastes can be enjoyed in salads, tzatziki sauce and as a snack. The 'Bursztyn F1' provides excellent material for half sour kosher pickles and the shortly pickled malosolne (low salt) pickles.

Cucumber plants need a fertile, thoroughly cultivated soil that is sufficiently moist. You can expect high yield if you provide them with a warm sunny site.

The seeds of the 'Bursztyn F1' cucumber should be sown from January onwards, as this variety shows high resistance to low temperatures. Sow from mid May in field cultures. The harvest takes place from July to September.

One package contains 2 grams of seeds. The basic plant information, growing instructions and the sow-by date can be found at the back side of the package.
