Cucumber ‘Wisconsin SMR 58’ is a fertile medium-early variety that is highly suitable for pickling, souring, as well as for delicious salads. Cucumber ‘Wisconsin SMR 58’ produces relatively long dark green fruit with considerable warts; the fruit are brilliant green at one end and darkish green at the other.
Growing: sow the seeds in 80-100cm spacings from mid-to late May; sow individually or every 2 to 3 seeds in 15cm spacings. This variety requires warm moist permeable soils that are heavily fertilised.
