The Chromacolor daffodil offers a unique combination of clean white petals with the vividly coloured, orange-coral-red corollula. This unusual colouring makes it a true rarity that attracts attention with its beauty from afar. The presented variety is a perfect border decoration and a great idea for adding colour to the front of shrubs and hedges. It is so attractive that it can be planted at the showcase garden spots. The sweet, enchanting scent of the flowers is an icing on the cake. These up to 30 cm tall narcissi are a true gem of the early spring garden (April and May).

Daffodils should be basically grown on sunny sites, but will bring satisfying visual results in partial shade, too. This plant does not have any special soil requirements. The optimal planting period starts in the middle of August and lasts the whole September and October until November. A medium-rich, moderately moist garden soil will suit them fine. Daffodils require watering during drier springs. Soil pH should be slightly acidic or neutral.  Daffodils are completely frost resistant and do not require any special covers, but we recommend to mulch them with leaves or twigs in colder regions. Take off the mulch after the vegetation comes to life, water the plants and feed them with multicomponent fertilizer. Daffodils may grow 4 to 8 years on one site. We recommend to excavate the bulbs every 2 to 3 years.

The price quoted here is valid for 5 bulbs of the "Chromacolor" daffodil sized 12 to 14 cm in circumference.
