Dahlia “Happy Butterfly” (Dahlia) is a tall variety producing extremely decorative flowers. These plants develop erect stems that grow up to 110 cm tall. Strong stalks carry large, spherical inflorescences. This presented variety produces subtle, pastel-coloured blooms – creamy-white, pink and white. They develop in large numbers from July to October. This charming variety will be an exceptional part of every flowery arrangement. Due to its impressive size we recommend planting it at the border background or alongside fences or building walls.

Dahlia rootstocks should be planted end of April / beginning of May, after the risk of frost is gone. Choose a sunny border. We recommend mixing the soil with compost or a dose of mineral fertilizer. These plants prefer permeable, fertile and humous soils that retain water well. Excavate dahlia rhizomes after the first frost. Cleaned and dried corms should be stored until spring in a cool and airy place. We recommend covering them with a layer of peat, so they do not lose all the moisture.
