The Doll's Minuet tulip enchants with its saturated colour and the unusual flower form. This tulip of the Viridiflora group is adorned with irregular greens streaks and stands out with a surprisingly long flowering period. Doll's Minuet has been known for many years and still enjoys high popularity. Its flowers consist of rather narrow, pointed petals. Their irregular arrangement gives flowers a unique look. Buds that unfold in April reveal a beautiful raspberry pink colour, decorated with green and purple stripes. Presented variety grows forty five to fifty five centimetres tall and works well at all places you wish to introduce a distinct colour and shape to. This tulip looks great in larger one-variety plantings and in combination with other tulips or daffodils. The eye-catching flowers of Doll's Minuet can be cut and arranged in original compositions and bouquets.
Sunny and semi-shaded suit tulip cultivation best. You can also plant them next to shrubs and under deciduous trees. Before planting the bulbs, enrich the soil with a dose of compost or slow-release mineral fertilizer. Plant bulbs of the presented variety in autumn, from September to November. The depth of the holes should be adjusted to the size of the bulbs, usually within the ten to fifteen centimetres range. Keep the planting site continually moderately moist and cover it with bark, conifer twigs, or straw before the winter. You can leave the bulbs in the ground for several years, yet the excavation in summer after the leaves have dried and replanting in autumn ensures abundant blooming.
Package contains 250 bulbs of the Doll's Minuet tulip, sized 11/12 centimetres. Basic plant information and growing instructions were printed on the package label.
