The "Roselily Julia" lily (Lilium orientalis) is a magnificent oriental variety with double fragrant saturated cool pink flowers that you simply cannot ignore. Its slender flowering stalk ends with several huge bowl-shaped flowers that, in contrary to the blooms of traditional single lilies do not look like long cups but are densely filled with narrow petals. These long, elegantly outward bending petals delight with a nice velvety shine and take on a saturated fuchsia colour. The warm yellow spot in the middle of a flower only adds to its depth. The flowers of the "Roselily Julia" lily are admired not only for their size and exotic unusual form but also for their sweet pleasant aroma. Nobody who looks for a medium tall - 70 to 90 cm - unique fragrant lily with over-average look would be disappointed by the presented variety.

We recommend to plant oriental lilies in spring because they belong to lilies that are sensible to strong frost. The bulbs of the "Roselily Julia" lily should be placed in light, wet, humus-rich soil at the depth thrice the height of a single bulb. Do not forget about the proper drainage layer and access to sunlight. The site can be either open and sunny or partially shady.
