Tulips are beloved bulbous plants and admiration for them is well deserved. The "Yellow Pomponette" variety belongs to late double tulips. Rich, double calyxes sit atop straight stems. There are standard tulip leaves that softly wrap themselves around the stalk underneath the blooms. The massive flower heads resemble 10-cm-broad hemispheres in the full sun. This incredible variety will win over hearts of the garden lovers. It blooms in April and May.

Tulip bulbs should be planted from September until end of the year. They winter in the ground without any issues. The soil for tulip cultures should be fertile, humous, permeable and sufficiently moist. Suggested planting depth: 15 - 20 cm.
