The "Krystyna" forage carrot (Daucus carota), available here in large 500-g packs, belongs to the late, exceptionally productive and reliable varieties. It develops long, crunchy, bright orange roots that are rich in beta-carotene, carbohydrates and are eagerly consumed by animals. The crops can be harvested 140 days after the sow. The "Krystyna" fodder carrot offered here delights with long shelf life, as it does not lose any of its nutritional values. This carrot cultivar stands out with excellent vigour and resistance. It grows best on permeable, sufficiently light soils. You may grow it as a companion plant or grow as monoculture.
