The "Łąkowa TŁ-9" forage grass selection for meadows is our solution for growing perennial grasslands on lesser soils with unstable water conditions. The contents of this mix were selected to use the potential of peat soils in the most efficient manner. It contains grass and plant species that tolerate periodical waterlogging: Meadow foxtail, black bent and tall fescue. The excellent resistance of this selection to excessive soil humidity prevents from losing green mass when unfavourable weather conditions last longer. Crops harvested from meadows sown with "TŁ-9" forage grass selection may be turned into delicious, valuable hay that animals would nibble on eagerly.

Grass selections for hay meadows have their own specific character. In order to fulfil their role and meet farmer's requirements, tall grasses that produce huge amounts of green mass should constitute the majority of the selection. These would be then complemented by lower growing grass species. Red and Alsike clover are used as an enriching ingredient. A high quality meadow grass selection would give you at least two rich cuttings during a single season and needs to be rich in nutrients.

Seeding rate of this forage grass selection is 35-40kg/ha.
