The "Pastwiskowa KP-10" forage grass selection (without legumes) is a grass seed selection intended for perennial, medium intensively used grasslands. This general purpose mix may be sown on farmland all over Europe. Grasses of the "KP - 10" grass selection form dense, juicy turf that is resistant to treading and cropping. It also shows good tolerance to mowing. We recommend to use it for hay production. Omission of the Fabaceae forage plants from the mix speeds up the fermentation process and allows you to produce silage way quicker. It stands out with excellent nutritional value. In order for these grasses to yield richer crops, the use of appropriate nitrogen fertilization is recommended.

Pasture grass selections must meet several criteria. A high quality pasture land consists of relatively low growing, thick and densely leaved turf. Plants included in the given pasture selection must show high resistance to treading and low cropping by the grazing animals. Pasture grasses should also be easily digestible and rich in nutrients.
