Granulated horse manure - Biopon - 5 litres

Granulated horse manure - Biopon - 5 litres is used whenever the soil needs to be enriched with organic matter and its structure and fertility improved. This product is intended for vegetables, fruit trees and shrubs, ornamental plants and lawns, especially on heavy, moist and clay soils. The granulated form makes it easy to spread the product evenly in gardens, so it is suitable both when preparing the soil before planting and during seasonal crop care.

Properties and benefits

A high content of organic substances promotes the formation of humus, which helps the soil becomes more fertile, stores water better and makes nutrients more readily available to plants. The granulated form causes a gradual release of nutrients and humic substances, which stabilises growing conditions in the soil. As horse manure decomposes, it also generates heat, which is why it is particularly suitable for raising seedlings in greenhouses, tunnels and cold frames.

Composition

Total nitrogen (N) content at least 1.8% m/m, phosphorus expressed as P2O5 at least 2.0% m/m, potassium expressed as K2O at least 1.9% m/m. Organic matter content at least 67.0% of dry matter. The product is a solid granulated form.

Application and feeding period

Granulated horse manure can be used in vegetable gardens, orchards and ornamental beds. It is suitable for fertilising vegetables grown in the ground and under cover, fruit crops, ornamental trees and shrubs, balcony plants and lawns. Treatments are carried out from March to November, both before planting and during the season, when the soil needs improved structure and replenishment of organic matter.

Dosage

In fruit crop cultivation before planting, use 150-300 g per m², while in the first two years after planting use 150-200 g per m². Vegetables are fertilised at a rate of 120-170 g per m² in the ground or 150-250 g per m² under cover. In ornamental beds before planting, use 150-180 g per m², and in the following years up to 100 g per m². Ornamental trees and shrubs require 150-200 g per m², lawns about 100 g per m², while in the cultivation of potted and balcony plants use 10 g of product per 1 litre of growing medium.

Directions for use

Spread the granules evenly over the soil surface and mixed into the top layer to a depth of about 15-20 cm. In the case of new plantings, the product can be mixed with soil in the planting hole or prepared growing medium, while around existing plants it should be spread around the plants and, where possible, lightly mixed with the soil. When establishing a lawn, spread the product on the prepared area, mix it with the top layer of the medium, level the surface and only then sow the grass seed.
