The corker presented here is made of durable plastic and consists of a conical sleeve and a piston. This device is not suitable for bottles with flanged necks.

In order to cork a bottle properly, you must squeeze the cork during pushing it into the neck of the bottle. That way the diameter of the cork will be smaller than the diameter of the bottle neck. You may move the piston by hand or with help of a special rubber hammer.
