The Happy Love miniature lily that develops Bordeaux-red flowers is an excellent plant for growing in a pot or a box. This low growing, 35 to 50 centimetres tall, plant flowers in summer and enriches your garden repertoire with its unmatched charm. The elegant, characteristic Happy love lily is perfect for planting on flower bed borders and small groups on lawns. A pot with flowering lilies is a great way to adorn a table or chest of drawers. These uniquely coloured lilies with shorter, stiff stems make wonderful cut flowers. Bouquets, compositions, and decorations made of those plants are perfect for many different occasions.

Growing lilies in pots is a great solution for adding a fresh touch to the surroundings. Low growing varieties look great in baskets and planters on a balcony. Choose 30 to 40 centimetres deep planters for cultivation of lilies. Place a porous drainage layer at the bottom of the planter, such as the expanded clay aggregate. Then fill the pot with special balcony plant soil or standard garden mix. Plant bulbs ten to fifteen centimetres deep. You can plant up to five bulbs in a 20-centimetre planter - a higher density would hamper the proper development of the plants. Place the planter in a well-lit spot that is not directly exposed to sunlight. Keep the soil moist at all times. We recommend using special bulbous plant fertilizers. Flowering plant food is also an option. Bulbs of lilies grown in pots should be excavated too and stored in a dark, dry, and cool place until the next planting in spring of the following year that happens from mid March to mid April.

Each package contains 1 bulb of the Happy Love miniature lily, sized14/16. Essential plant growing tips and information can be found on the package label.
