The Holland Chase daffodil is a variety that stuns with colour and splendor of the double flowers. A golden-yellow narcissus is a universal symbol of spring. The Holland Chase daffodil produces fluffy flowers woven from multiple layers of yellow petals clustered around a deeply split, juicy orange cup. These sunny wonders reach nine centimetres (three-and-a-half inches) in diameter and develop in the middle of the daffodil season. Flowers stay on plants for a relatively long time. Bright, cheerful daffodils should not be missed from any home garden or lawn. They look fantastic in large, colourful spots under the crowns of tall deciduous trees or in rock gardens. Daffodil belongs to undemanding plants. To develop properly, they need well-drained soil and a sunny position. Planting must take place in autumn before first frost.
