The "Titan's Glory" bearded iris (Iris germanica) belongs to the most valued bearded iris varieties that is much sought-after due to its adorable, saturated bloom colour. The perennial offered here belongs to tall, erect plants and its stiff, smooth flowering stalks reach up to 90 cm in height. They end with huge, up to 15 cm long flowers. Each bloom consists of six broad, velvety petals with delicately frizzled edges. Three of them are joint together and form a dome, while the lower ones bend ornamentally downwards. Their dark, distinct, blue-purple colour immediately attracts attention and makes this variety stand out from the summer plants with light blooms.

Rhizomes of the "Titan's Glory" iris may be grown in spring on sunny or partially shady sites. Blooms will last longer on sites that remain in the shadows for a substantial part of the day. The variety offered here in our store likes humus-rich, permeable and moist soils, preferably with slightly acidic reaction. Bearded iris is fully frost-resistant perennial that will surprise you with its sturdiness and longevity. It will bloom abundantly on the same site for several years, spreading further and further each year. The plant that we present here may become an elegant border, rock garden or lawn decoration. It harmonises splendidly with yellow and white irises.

One package contains 1 large, healthy first choice rhizome. Plant growing instructions were printed on every package.
