Narcissus Jack Snipe is a dwarf bicolour daffodil variety. It belongs to cyclamineus daffodil cultivars, characterized by a narrow funnel and reflexed tepals. Presented daffodil grows no taller than 25 centimetres, constituting splendid material for spring flower beds and borders, covering larger patches of lawn, rock gardens, and container arrangements. Despite its moderate height, presented daffodil makes an excellent figure as cut flower. Most Narcissus varieties look best in larger groups. They harmonize with other bulbous flowers and other early flowering perennials. The bloom in March and April and often grow in urban green spaces, where they produce first colour accents in early spring.
Plant daffodil bulbs starting in the second half of August, throughout September and October. Put them into a moderately rich and moderately moist garden soil with a slightly acidic or neutral reaction. Daffodils prefer sunny or slightly shaded places. During extremely dry springs, they require watering. As a completely hardy species, it does not need covering before the winter. A layer of bark or mulch is recommended only during extremely frosty and/or snowless winters, as well as in colder regions. Remove that protective layer right after the start of vegetation, water plants, and feed them with a multi-component fertilizer that stimulates them to produce flowers.
Package contains 250 bulbs of the Jack Snipe daffodil. Look for the basic plant facts and growing instructions on the package label.
