The Kent Asiatic Lily is one of the classic varieties with white flowers. Captivating with its natural elegance, this about 90 centimetres tall plant looks will shine both on a flower bed and in a large container. Its large flowers that consist of fleshy petals decorated with a crown of light brown stamens represent the features with which lilies are associated - chic and majesty. The erect stem that supports the flowers is covered with lanceolate, shiny leaves that match the noble calyxes. The vigorously growing Asiatic lilies can be used in a variety of ways: planted on flower beds, growing in large containers, or used as cut flower. The proud lily silhouettes will blend in with any given garden style.

Plant garden lilies in spring or autumn. Put the bulbs in a fertile, drained soil that has been previously weeded and loosened. Choose a sunny site or partial shade for lilies. Fertilizing the site with compost before planting the bulbs is recommended. Lilies are not difficult to grow. Provide them with the appropriate conditions and they will grow at the same site for several years. The Kent Asiatic Lily winters in the ground, does not fall to diseases, and can be enjoyed for at least a few weeks during the season.
