Lilium 'Distant Drum' produces large, multi-layered flowers in shades of pink with paler petal edges. Their double form gives the blooms a full, decorative look and clearly sets this variety apart from classic lilies. The flowers open on straight, sturdy stems above narrow green leaves. The plant grows to around 80-100 cm tall and looks particularly good in the middle of a border. While in flower, it gives off a pleasant fragrance typical of many lily varieties.
The best time for planting is in spring, from April to May.
