The Child in Time lily is a variety that develops bright salmon-pink flowers that turn paler as they mature and are covered with darker spots. It blooms reliably from June to August. Its large star-shaped flowers consist of slightly backward bent petals and delight with nice, not-too-heavy scent. This wonderful lily is a great garden flower. It can be used as cut flower too. The Child in Time lily is an AOA hybrid that is an Asiatic lily cross-bred with an oriental lily, which hybrid is then cross-bred again with another Asiatic lily. The AOA hybrids are sturdy, exotic looking plants that grow tall. The variety that we offer here grows up to 80 centimetres tall at its peak.

All lily varieties grow best in the sun. They like fertile, permeable soils that are also rich in nutrients. They require a soil that is constantly yet only moderately moist to develop properly. Water logging in the ground may cause lily bulbs to mould. Lily bulbs can be planted in autumn and spring.
