The Limoncello gladiolus is a plant that produces phenomenal yellow flowers that are gathered in long ears. The tall gladioli wonderfully decorate large borders. The light golden colour offered by the Limoncello variety throws a touch of sunlight into every possible composition. The erect gladiolus is highly regarded not only as a garden plant. Its slender stem can be cut as soon as the first bottom buds unfold. Blooms of this excellent gladiolus can be adorned from July to August. The Limoncello gladiolus grows about 120 centimetres tall in optimal conditions.
The heat-loving plants should grow at a sunny site in a nutritious soil. Due to their substantial dimensions, we recommend finding a spot that is sheltered from the wind. Regularly water and fertilize gladioli cultures during the intensive growth. Dig out the bulbs before the winter. This is a frost-sensitive species that can be damaged by low temperatures. Gladioli corms, stored successfully over the winter, should be planted next spring at a different site.
One package contains 50 gladioli bulbs of the presented variety. These bulbs are sized 12/14 centimetres in circumference. The basic plant information and growing instructions can be found on the package label.
