Oriental lily Casa Blanca attracts attention at first sight thanks to its with huge, pure white flowers with rusty anthers. This tall, 70 to 100 centimetres in height, phenomenal lily is one of the most popular plants for single-colour flowerbeds or gardens set in light, pastel tones. Blooming throughout July and August, Casa Blanca produces very large, six-petalled flowers with a heavenly scent. The striking, vigorously growing oriental lily is both an excellent border filler and a cut flower. It should not be missing from a typical summer composition or in tall composition next to a wall or fence. Casa Blanca' clean white colouring is universal and matches both bright, saturated colours and a whole range of pastels.
Oriental lilies are the most demanding group among lilies. These wonderful flowering plants are best served by a well-drained, fertile, nutrient-rich, slightly acidic, peaty soil. Cultivation at sunny situations and those with a few hours of shade daily brings best results. Lilies can be planted in two periods: spring and autumn. Spring planting is usually recommended for the oriental lily. Throughout the entire vegetation, lilies require systematic watering, fertilization and weeding. Staking may be required in less sheltered areas.
One package contains one bulb of the lily Casa Blanca, sized 16 to 18 centimetres in circumference. Basic plant facts and a growing guide were included in the product information on the packaging label.
