The 'White Cloud' ornamental garlic is simply unmatched thanks to its white, spherical flower clusters that look as if they have been sprinkled with tender balls. Its tall naked flowering stalks begin to adorn flower beds and lawns in May already and bloom until July. The densely packed single flowers with slightly protruding anthers and pale pink stripes look great in natural, rustic, Mediterranean, modern and rock gardens. Ornamental garlic harmonizes with many species of flowering plants. Their clusters of flowers tower over them and delight with their beauty. The 100 to 120 centimetres tall 'White Cloud' ornamental garlic can be utilized as cut flower in bouquets and flower arrangements. The dried inflorescences retain some of their ornamental value and add a nice touch to autumn and winter landscapes.

Ornamental garlic should be planted on sunny or partially shady sites. It prefers permeable, sandy or sandy-loam soils. Should the soil that you have at your disposal be of another kind, make sure to apply the appropriate drainage layer. The soils also needs to be rich in humus, deeply cultivated and sufficiently moist. Plant the bulbs in autumn, from September to November, 10 to 15 centimetres deep. The fully frost resistant plant grows back in spring rather quickly. It needs to be watered during draught periods. We also recommend to weed the site thoroughly and feed the plants with multicomponent fertilizers during the intensive growth stage. You can remove wilted inflorescences in order to strengthen the bulbs. Dig out the bulbs every 2 to 3 years and separate the offset bulbs.

One package contains 50 bulbs of the 'White Cloud' ornamental garlic.
