The Pasque Flower, is a perennial variety, which, similarly to other Pasque Flower varieties, grows fairly short, from 15 to 20 centimetres in height. It naturally develops gorgeous purple flowers that are the main decorative element of this outstanding variety. The Pasque Flower is predominantly grown in rockeries or perennial beds.
Growing: sow the seeds under cover or in a seedbed from April to May. Also, you can sow the seeds directly into the soil in the autumn. The seeds germinate unevenly in a month or so, at a temperature of around 20oC. Plant out into a permanent position in 15x20cm spacings. This variety requires fertile permeable humus and not overly dry soils in sunny positions. The plants flower from April to June.
