Lily 'Pieton' (Lilium) is an Asiatic variety with intensely yellow flowers adorned with striking burgundy markings. Its slightly greenish throat lends the plant an exotic character. The rigid stems are densely clothed in green, sessile leaves. Borne in large inflorescences, the showy blooms are exceptionally effective in group plantings in borders and also in containers on terraces. This highly ornamental perennial, also valued in floristry, remains long-lasting after cutting for the vase.
The bulbs should be planted from April to May.
The recommended planting depth is 12-15 cm.
