The Red Life tiger lily is a beautiful bulbous plant whose main asset are bright flowers with dark spots. Its single, star-shaped flower takes on a vivid orange-red colour and consists of fleshy petals, that bend backwards, and are adorned with a dense pattern of dark brown dots. Large, cup-shaped flowers are gathered in loose clusters that contain from two to fifteen single blooms. Despite that burden, tall, yet stiff and strong stems do not require supports. Flowers develop in June-July and immediately take over the surroundings with their strong colour. Their advantages include durability a pleasant aroma. Tiger lilies flower reliably, their appearance enhances the style and character of many garden arrangements. They also impress as sturdy cut flowers that suit many floristic styles and arrangement types.

You can plant lily bulbs in September and October or in April and May. Make sure to prepare the site before. Cultivate it, enrich with compost, and weed. Do not save on fertilizers, lilies often require a lot of plant food to bloom abundantly, particularly during the bud development stage. Lilies appreciate mulching of the soil, as they like moderately, yet continually moist soil. Presented species shows complete hardiness and can stay at the same spot for several years.
