The Robinho tulip with its charming flowers that are densely packed with petals quickly attracts the attention of every onlooker. Double flowers of this tulip take on a deep red colour. They shimmer with a satin glow on sturdy, thirty-five to fifty centimetres tall stems. Other assets of the beautiful Robinho tulip include a delicate, yet distinct scent and high resistance to rain and wind. Solid red, cup-shaped. and quite heavy flowers may at times require supports. They are absolutely worth paying that price for their noble beauty. The flowering of the presented variety usually begins mid-May, although it is not always the case. When weather permits, flowers may appear as early as April. The multi-petal flowers maintain an attractive appearance in the garden for a relatively long time. The Robinho tulip constitutes a reliable ornament of home gardens, plant compositions, pot arrangements, and a rejuvenating accent in urban green areas.

Tulips must be planted in autumn, at least two weeks before the first projected frost. Prepare the site in advance by loosening and fertilizing the soil. Soaking bulbs in a fungicide solution before planting them ten to fifteen centimetres deep is highly recommended. Cover tulip sites with tree bark or deacidified peat before the winter. Following those simple maintenance rules and providing plants with basic care, such as watering, fertilizing, and topping faded flowers is the key to successful tulip cultivation. Tulip bulbs may stay and winter in the soil for several years in a row. To make sure that their flowering power does not weaken, we recommend to dig them out in the summer and plant them again in autumn.
