The small Rosanna tulip is worth planting where it can be clearly visible. Its enchanting, disproportionately large flowers come in a nice blend of warm colours. Those compact plants grow twenty-five to thirty centimetres on average and bloom in March and April. Their slightly overlapping, silvery-green, and broad leaves perfectly emphasize the attractive colouring of flowers. Red flower heads with a creamy-white edges retain their shape and colours for a long time. They spread their petals with a slightly pearly glow only when exposed to sunlight. Sturdy stems that carry large flowers allow you to plant this variety in rock gardens and pots. This variety is perfect for naturalizing lawns, arranging borders, and small, yet very elegant bouquets.

Tulips do not require much effort and even beginning gardeners can handle them very well. Bulbs of this species are planted only in autumn in a light, sandy-loam, and well-drained soil. A sunny position stimulates flower production, although tulips tolerate partial shade too. Topping wilted flowers and allowing leaves dry to provide the bulbs with nutrients for the next season is highly recommended. Tulips are fully hardy. Digging bulbs out every year is not necessary, you can transplant them to a new site every three to four years.
